Experience
Ms. Prabhakar joined Fugro Consultants in the year 2000 after completing a Masters Degree in Pavements and Materials Engineering.  Ms. Prabhakar's experience related to pavement engineering encompasses both the research and consulting areas. Her main areas of interest include structural and condition evaluations, remaining life evaluations, and pavement design. In the consulting area, Ms. Prabhakar has worked on numerous structural evaluations and design projects for highways, airfields, and port facilities. In the research area, Ms. Prabhakar has worked on projects involving implementation of the MEPDG and evaluation of pavement design procedures.

Ms. Prabhakar servers as the LTPP Database Manager for the southern region office. In this capacity, Ms. Prabhakar is responsible for the quality assurance of materials testing data and performance data collected on LTPP test sections. Prior to being assigned with the responsibility of database manger, Ms. Prabhakar has also assisted in the collection of pavement performance data. She has also created a quality control plan and work guides for the FWD Testing, Profile Testing, and Manual Distress Surveys on roadways for the Southern Region Support Contracting office. 

Ms. Prabhakar has also managed various roadway and airport rehabilitation projects that included structural capacity analysis and evaluations of pavements on runways and taxiways.
